This intense but fun, three-day workshop is designed for students with basic experience. If you’ve taken Rhonda Deegs Basic class here at the Belvedere School, you are eligible to take this class. If you have not taken her class, please email me before registering to describe your basic experience with stained glass, firstname.lastname@example.org. Once I have that experience described to me I will email you back with the green light to register. We are capping this class at 8 students
This advanced class, with Rhonda Deeg, will focus on spending the entire three days creating, restoring and repairing stained glass panels. Practice panels will be available, but if you have your own panel- bring it along! No lecturing here, just “hands-on” learning! Tips, tricks, soldering and resources for all your glass questions will be discussed during our studio work. As a special project, you will be a part of building the small, staircase window panels for the Steamboat Carpenter Gothic Revival house the Belvedere School is building across the street from the school.
Come prepared to work and share! Bring your own safety glasses, apron, and if you have your own tools- bring them too.
The class runs March 15-17, 2024 and the tuition is $595. The class runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily with a homecooked lunch each day from noon to 1:00. We may have discounted rooms here at the Belvedere Inn. Check with Pat 2170799-6086 for room availability or other lodging options in Hannibal.
