Ever wanted to learn how to make or restore a stained-glass window. This is your opportunity to learn from the best.  In this class, Rhonda will teach you hands-on, how to make a stained-glass window as well as how to repair and restore an old one.

This is a 3-day class with a limit of 8 students for this session and the tuition is $595. Pre-registration is required.

This is our 16th year at the Belvedere School for Hands-On Preservation and we’re excited to continue offering a class called, “Making & Restoring Stained Glass Windows”

We’re even more excited to have instructor, Rhonda Deeg back for 2024. Rhonda is considered one of the top stained-glass artists in the country. She born in Kokomo, IN only a few blocks from Kokomo Opalescent Glass, has devoted much of her career to teaching the construction trades and historic preservation in the vocational trades, both at the high school and college levels for Adult, Continuing, and Vocational Education academic programs in Michigan, Wisconsin, Maryland and Indiana. Rhonda also has over 25 years’ experience in stained and art glass repair and restoration and is sole owner of RLD Glass Art & Restoration.  Rhonda is an expert in creating new stained glass as well as restoration of the old and historic leaded glass windows

In this class, Rhonda will teach you hands-on, how to make a stained-glass window as well as how to repair and restore an old one.

This is a 3-day class with a limit of 8 students for this session and the tuition is $595. Pre-registration is required.

All skill levels are encouraged to attend. Potential students include: homeowners; students; contractors; building owners; city, county & state HP staff; not-for-profit housing organization staff; architects; preservation commission members and museum house maintenance staff.

Tuition includes: fresh ground morning coffee and snacks; a home cooked lunch daily; a Certificate of Completion and backup materials.
